The Story Of N60

The Story of November Six Zero

Please use this site as a communication panel to discuss matters on the Book and Northern Ireland issues, I am not a professional book writer by any stretch of the imagination, and I do not profess to have any literary eloquence about me in my writing style, so please no comments on grammar and spelling, I don’t do either, and if you’re looking for a Dan Brown I’m not him.

This is soldier’s trench talking account of a six months tour of duty in West Belfast. I am writing it as I would speak it, and I really don’t want to spoil what the book is about by speaking all lovely and nice. Dates and times will probably be inaccurate, as most of this is written from old notes and flashbacks.

I have a whole bunch of stuff to write about and the more I write the better I will get. This is big learning period for an old War Horse like me so please constructive criticism is essential. However I am betting the first comments will be on spelling and grammar.

Looking forward to hearing form you all.

About Author

I grew up in Hartlepool county Cleveland, and at the age of 17 joined the British Army, serving as an Infantry soldier in my county regiment The Light Infantry. I served a total of twenty two years leaving the service in March 2002.

After a career transition and a bit of re-education I become an ITC/Systems professional and now work locally in Shropshire.

Since I can remember I have always loved stories and have always wanted to write my own books. Whilst in the military I have served all over the world and have gained so much life experience, which is what inspired me to start writing.
